BabyFirst TV

My daughter loves to watch television. She loves Mickey Mouse and Sesame Street. I prefer for her to watch educational programming, and at ten months old, my daughter prefers educational programming.

We have Directv in our household. My husband and I have every channel under the sun, with the exception of all the soft core porn channels. We were flipping through the channels, one day, to try to find our daughter to watch that would interest her. We came across a channel called BabyFirst TV. It was not available on our TV, so we called Directv to access it.

It was an excellent purchase. It only costs about five dollars a month and is full of developmental programs. Our little girl started watching it at about five months old and it kept her attention.

The channel offers different programs throughout the day that focus on different stages of a child's development. There are programs that help your baby recognize shapes, colors, and words. There are nighttime programs that help your baby go to sleep and stay asleep. In the morning, there are programs that start your child's day by stimulating his/her little brain. BabyFirst also offers parents tips on which programs to watch at different stage of the child's development.

My daughter is enthralled with all the different shows that are teaching her, at the same time. I don't like to park my child in front of the TV, but in the course of the day, I have to or I wouldn't get anything done. I feel much more comfortable allowing her to watch shows that are enhancing her cognitive skills.

If you are looking for a good purchase for your child, you might want to give BabyFirst TV a try. It has Spanish/English programs that teach your child how to read and pronounce words in Spanish. I was really impressed with that. The length of the programs are short enough to keep your child's attention, but long enough to instill knowledge. It is best to watch with your child to get the full effect.

If I didn't really like this channel, I wouldn't be hawking it. It is just really good. My daughter is watching it as I write this and she is learning about numbers.

The little songs that they teach are so cute, and really catchy.  When I am doing my chores during the day, I feel more comfortable knowing she is being entertained by BabyFirst TV.

I've never heard of this channel but it sounds like it would be very attractive to people with babies. I'm sure it's going to (if not already) make a ton of money:) Thanks for sharing.
